Student enrollment requirements
Who can go to Art Camp
Art Camp is open to any child, ages 4-8. Artistic skill or previous interest in the visual arts aren’t pre-requisites! Most groups are mixed age, and siblings and friends are welcome.
Washrooms
Children must be washroom independent, as no assistance will be provided.
Accidents/Incidents/Behavior
When a child sustains an accidental injury, whether it is a bump, scratch, or cut we will tell you at pick-up. If it is more serious we will call you from class. If a child’s behavior jeopardizes the safety of other children, parents will be called as soon as possible to make them aware of the incident and to help ensure privacy. If a child’s behavior continues to be unsafe we will meet with the parents and develop a specific strategy to resolve the behavior.
Discipline
Children may be removed from the program at the discretion of the instructor.
Payment and policies
PaymentPayment for all Art Camp activities is due in-full upon registration. Your child is officially enrolled only once payment and the release of liability form have been received. We currently accept PayPal or checks (payable to Christine Brenneman's Art Camp) as forms of payment. There is a $20.00 returned check charge for any checks returned by the bank.
Enrollment
Students will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis. Maximum class size is 6 students for each teacher present.
Missed Classes
There will be no refund for missed classes.
Pick-up and Drop-off
Parents / guardians are required to accompany students when arriving and departing. Please drop off and pick up your child on time.
Refunds
General Refund PolicyOur refund policy is as follows:
- 14+ days notice: Program fee refunded less 10% administration fee
- 8-14 days notice: Program fee refunded less 50% administration fee
- 7 or less days notice: Program fee is nonrefundable
Summer Camps Refund Policy
Our Summer Camps refund policy is as follows:
- Before April 1: Camp fee refunded less 10% administration fee
- Between April 1-May 15: Camp fee refunded less 50% administration fee
- On or after May 16: Camp fee is nonrefundable
Other important information
What to bring/What not to bring*Please put your child’s name in his/her belongings.
*Please dress your child warmly, and in layers, as we spend part of our day outdoors.
*You DO NOT need to pack a snack for your child; a light and healthy snack is provided at every Art Camp outing.
*If your child is attending Summer Art Camp, he or she should bring a lunch each day.
